I have been debating between the Armada ARV and Salomon Czar. I need some help choosing what to get. I need a ski that is really good in park, good in big mtn. and decent everywhere else (don't really care about moguls). The reason I like the Czar is because I saw how it floated in the pow and also did pretty well in everything else. Also, if there is a better ski for my cause, please do tell me.
i would go with something like the Line Anthem or Chronic both good park skis and decent all mtn. If your set on one of those two i would go with the arvs unless u ski more pow then park.
also, i hav dumonts rite now and they blow if i go out of the park. wouldnt suspects be the same? they r the same underfoot. dont u think the arvs mite be a better choice if i cant get the bridge. maybe not
the bridges are great in the park form what ive heard, considering their size and dimensions. they would be more beneficial in the powder compared to the ARV's since the ARV's are very buttery i dont know how well they could float in the deep stuff, can anyone clarify this for me and the to-be-buyer?
the volkl bridge is increadible when it comes to mid depth pow and also preforms great in the park becouse it is light and durable. (my friend has the 09/10)
I have to respectfully disagree with your choice of the chronic. It really is not that great of an all mountain ski (at least out west). I much prefer the blend which has a wider waist.
