This movie was terrible.

There, I said it.

Its not really the movie's fault though.  It had awesome acting and cinematography, was well directed, and was overall very stylishly done.

It was just based on a shitty book, by a shitty author, who writes books that have really exciting concepts and somehow makes them as slow and boring as possible, then tacks really bad endings on the end at inappropriate times in the story.

You'll see when they make The Road into a movie soon.

for people who think that all these big budget hollywood blockbuster films are the best ever really need to go and watch some more movies... i know youre all probably 15 and have short attention spans and like explosions and stupid humor, but just try it for a bit...

Well the movie was like painting a piece of shit hot pink.  Sure, its hot pink, but its still a piece of shit.  I'm saying the script was bad because it was adapted from a book that was bad.  And a movie with a bad script can be as well made as you want, but its still not going to be good without a good plot and interesting dialouge and shit.

And it dragged pretty hard, it was slow.  I actually thought it was going to be really good, and then was disappointed, but I wasn't sure what about it I didn't like, and then I read a couple of that guy's books and understood.
