Where would you go on vacation? (to ski)

Yup....

Title says it all.....

Where would you take some of your friends on a trip out west? Abilities vary, but we need challenging shit.

1)Jackson Hole / Grand Targhee
2)SLC Area - if SLC area, what resorts / why?
3)Pacific North West (mainly thinking Whistler here)
4)Tahoe
5)Taos
6)Oh yeah...Colorado

I myself am heavily leaning on Jackson / Grand Targhee or SLC area. SLC has oodles of places to ski at. The Canyons, Snowbird, Park City, Deer Valley, Alta. All of them are pretty respectable. Where as an 8-9 day trip to Jackson has some friends worried we will just be lapping the mountain and tired of it by the 6th day. (Hence SLC variety might be a plus).

I am planning on another trip 2 months after this (going during Xmas for this trip). So far for that trip I am going solo, and I am already pretty set on Whistler.....

I am going to be bringing at least my twins out, and something like an ARV and Lhasa Pow to go charge through the pow.

Lodging is looking to be the bitch ass expensive portion of the trip.......
