Pettiion to keep Shane on the front page

Everyone here on ns has been effected by the loss of a great in someway, to some he was a friend, others he was an idol, and to others he was just a fellow skier, all the more, its get to you

now i woke up this morning to see joss now on the front page, and still this rail jam fella as the display page, we need a tribute to shane in some way for atleast a week, seeing joss on the front was almost like ns was moving on already, like it was old news now... i understand that new news needs to be shown, but we need a way to give him the memorial he deserves..

idk if it would be asshole to amke a whole section but i think maybe we should make like a section were we could just have some pictures and a little info about them and shane could  be there, travis steeger, hoot brown, etc

Schmuck says he is working on putting something together that will commemorate him properly, or as well as we can with the medium we have. I think the report he put up yesterday was really well expressed too. As long as you guys all keep talking about how Shane's skiing affected or inspired you, he'll stay on the front page of these forums too.

As someone else said, it would be cool to have a tab that was RIP of somesort.  Not to dwell on but to remember the good times that they gave us, the epic movies and pictures.  There are some great legends that the ski community has lost.

yes this should be on top of all the headlines. i mean comon if face book has a group newschoolers definitely should be commemorating him.  one of the sickest big mt skiers, something every skier would want to be. hes an idol to the newschooler kids and the pros. give the man some respect and we can remember his fame by sick pictures and videos

for sure. if it were up to me we should have an entire forum section for all of the sick skiers out there that  have passed away doing what they love. so we can always remember them.
