yeah it does help you focus and get your stuff done. But dont take it at night unless your planning to stay awake ALL night

i take it. i have always been a smart kid (not to brag) but i dont study. im just naturally smart. I never studied for tests but am in advanced math classes and what not. i would litterally come home, watch tv, eat dinner, watch tv, go upstrairs to "do hw" and just listen to music and talk to friends and what not. my procrastination problems have been sooo bad. i did get work done but i really did the minimal and all that and so i just scerwed myself over

i kinda figured it out late, and so i recently started, im 16,and i knew i could do better, it was mostly my convincing that got my parents to get me "tested". ever since i started adderall, i have been doing great in math and science, im on top of things. i have had a few urges to do homework in free periods to just get it done, which i NEVER did. i dont really take it after school though, im not a huge fan of taking pills like this. i get my homework done, and i still procrastinate, but in school i do feel a little bit better, plus it wakes me up and gives me energy. I had Gym first period one day and found myself screaming and kids that fucked up our games and what not.

side effects... im not hungry when i used to be, from the time i take it till after school i dont really have an appetite. i eat lunch out of habit, and cuz i know i should, but im not really hungry. when it wears off it kinda makes me jittery for a little while. i also think it might be linked to this rabit like shits i've been taking for the past month or two (yeah, its really weird, i can't figure it out... its terrible). if you take it to late in the day you wont fall asleep 

im still messing around with it. i started on ritalin, made me sooo irritable. then tried adderall and it was better. so i tried extended release and it worked longer, but not long enough. so not im trying vyvanse which is like a longer lasting adderall. i think i like adderall better, but it doesnt last as long...

to be honest, i dont know why i wrote all that, i dont even know if you wanna take it because you acctually have ADD or because you just want to get a little boost before a test.

I also have quite a stock of pills (ones that i tried and worked or didnt work but i uped the dose and what not). i plan on bringing those to college with me to make some extra scrilla :)

i was on adderol for a bit its helps so much but the side affects are brutal. for one dont expect to ever sleep, blury vision i got extreme case, loss of apetite which leads to loss of weight. i lost like 15 pounds. its not that good im on a non stimulant now

me and my friends take it, just for fun though.

they make you feel on top of the world for the first few hours, but you wont eat for a whole day. they make your palms and back really sweaty. i buy em for $1 a pill, but dont expect that price. they do make you focus really well though. just not always on what you want. sometimes ill say fuck it, and spend the whole period on a sweet drawing.

theyre cool, take some.

well yeah, but you kinda said it very generally...

basically it helps your body fire off stuff between your brain and what not, but if all that functions normally without it, then when you take it, it will make them fire to much and what not and make you very jittery and all that, like your on coke or speed (which it kinda is...)

I've never seen adderall in my life. half the time I have seen it other people fuck up the spelling as well.

grammatically, that sentence doesn't make sense. Also, cause can't be used there....try cuz, or maybe the full word "because."

how does it feel to be tooled on for something as insignifcant as that? probably the same way it felt for me.

In 9th grade I wrote a 9 or 10 page speech on the shit and it was so good that teachers thought I paid someone else to write it for me. But it is totally unnecessary. If you sit down and concentrate on a task and eliminate distractions you can do work just fine without it. I was so stupid last year I thought I needed it to get work done but this year since I haven't taken it once I have done better in school and did my work. I guess it would help on a long exam when you may lose motivation to keep trying.

it definitaly makes you focus. take it when you wake up because it works all day. you kind of feel like shit after awhile when your on it and you wont want to eat at all. take like 60 mg if you really want to focus.

adderalls the shit. i took it during finals and i got shit done. 95% on debate, i got Cs both quarters. 94% on french, i failed french last year and havent been doing so hot this year ethier.

Also another con is that I was TOO productive. I ran out of things to to, I always was CRAVING to work on something so I would just right essays that lasted ten pages or more

i have taken both adderall and a similar a.d.d. pill called concerta on prescription. they both tend to do about the same thing, but for me at least adderall had a tendency to mess up my sleeping more. and to whoever said that it makes your back and palms sweat, that didn't happen for me, but i have a couple friends who take it and they definitely get the sweat thing going. however, it's not like a magic pill that makes you do your homework or study or anything, you still need to take the effort to sit down and do your work, it can just help you focus on whatever task is at hand.

its an amphetamine. If you have ADD (its prescribed for things other than ADD too) it is supposed to make you focus through the salts its made up of (I dont understand the logistics) and increase dopamine in the brain. If you don't have ADD, it has similar effects as a lower dose of meth or speed.

I've taken it... but if you've ever watched Requiem for a dream... it kinda sketches me out.

I HATED IT!!!!!

I was on it all last year and i lost sooo muh weight because it kills your apetite and makes you like hella anorexic feeling and you jsut dont want to eat, and it turns you into a work zombie no joke my grades like sky rocketed but i ont think it was worth it because i lost alot of freinds and i got irritated with the smallst things to the point where i wasnted to choke out anyone that even came within eyesight of me. my opinion is just try your best to pay attention and dont take those crazy pills they will change you!

i havent but my roommate did and he stayed up for 3 days straight, it really helped him focus, BUT if his mind got focused on something other than hw, he was gone, if you do it make sure you keep your mind on your studies

most of you kids do not know what you are talking about. well some of you not all. if you really want good addys request to be  taking a new form of addy called viavance or some shit like that. cant blow it, they made it so it doesnt effect the brain when you blow it. just take one and it hits you like takin 5 xr's. i have one friend on it that needs it bad. try that or focalin. i cant spell them right, but i know my drugs.

ps; ridalin doesnt do anything

my friend popped adderall to finish a paper, i had the same thing due the next morning. i finished at 3 am, went to check on him and he was buggin out, like overfocusing fucked up. he finished at 7 am. im pretty sure you have to have add for it to work

I took it for like 3 months and it worked at the start and i was really motivated and stuff then that kinda wore off and i was super tired if i didnt take it and i got vertigo a lot and i didnt get hungry that much either. I know someone else thats been on it for like a year and the only way they can get out of bed in the morning is if they take it, which is pretty shit. After a while your body gets used to it and it becomes less affective and so you have to keep upping the dose until your taking the limit and then that starts not working. It seems like a good idea in the start but once your body gets used to it it becomes really bad, it took me a while to build up the energy i had before i took it, so to actually get up at a normal time, or to do stuff like longboarding and skiing w.e. Also it kills everything in the bedroom, you'd rather just sit on the couch and watch tv the get naked which is the worst.

Just a follow up here,

    Yeah i have ADD , like actual been to a doc ADD, not bored or don't care fake ADD. Anyways these things are pretty intense, i definitely can focus but i am easily agitated . Ive notices a few random things too, I've got sweaty palms, i cant get music to be loud enough. Upside i can focus and I'm awake for sure.  I wouldn't take this if i hadn't gotten it from a doc , well i wouldn't take it often. I'm planning on taking it only when i need because i can see it getting gnarly.  I'm curious what it would be like hitting a jumpline on this stuff, hmmm.   i guess ill find out next year.

im on vyvanse right now. i dont feel like its as effective as my adderall XR, and it makes my stomach hurt and sometimes i feel like shit.

btw, i love that fact that it makes me not want to eat. im a huskier kid who plays a lot of sports. i wanna be big but i dont wanna be fat. so i work out, don't over eat (i still eat, trust me) and i lose that bad body fat by not eating extra calories. by friday im down to like 173, after a weekend of not taking it, im back up to like 180
