Skis for my dad.

My dad is getting into skiing after snowboarding for a while. He went to the local shop and asked for some recommendations and i was wondering if you guys know anything about these skis or have suggestions for any other skis. The 3 pairs of skis are the Salomon X wing, Dynastar Mythic rider and the Rossignol Phantom SC80. If you can help out that would be great.

dynastar legend 8000 or something like that, my dad has them and he loves them. hes old so skiing isnt the easiest on his legs and he says those skis really help

dynastar skis are the best riding skis i have ever tried. them or atomic are the best for your money imo

Haha i told him to get hellbents but he wont. I think the dynastars are the best bet or i was thinking maybe S5's or something like that.

those skis are all very soft in the front end which means chatter at higher speeds. Try Volkl AC50, Rossi cx80, Blizzard magnum 8.1, head monster 78.

Volkl Twins - Whatever ski replaced the Karma would be my vote.  I am on Gotamas which may be a too wide for him?

the mythic riders are sick dude, im def a huge fan of them. might be a little stiff cause hes just transferrin over but im sure he'll enjoy them.

He isnt that great of a skier but he skied for a long time before he switched so i would say intermediate cause he does know how do carve and has the basics down.
