Hood is gonna go down this year

I was sweating it for a while but in the middle of march already 530 inches so far average is 500. Not as good as last year but laps on mile could be possible into july. YAY

i mean... my brother made it up there last summer for a week on a little under 250$. and skied alot (as you saw in "little crappy hood edit") so idk... im thinkin just saving as much as i can (probably about 4-5 hundred and just mashin it until im down to iek 120 for gas on the way back..

you can do it for that much,  dont buy food in govy, damn expensive,  get enough food for your trip at Winco foods, trust me . . . such great food deals.  Taco Tuesday at the Ratskeller- 3 Tacos for $2.50, check that out.  A coleman 2 burner stove would help too. 
You can hitchhike uber easy on Timberline access Road, just drive your car the mile or so from the airstrip to the rest area and hitch from there.  Save money on gas there. 
Hike the climbers trail and use MHSSC's park, as long as your help the park crew out, they are accommodating

i hiked from the parking lot last year.
that shit almost killed me.
now i dont claim to be in amazing shape, but im no fatty.
plus it took us a solid hour and a half.

it is doable, but hiking with skis and camera gear it sure is a bitch.

Windell's is the shit.
Everything a kid wants to do outside of snow at basecamp.
Their park has the best vibe and many folks learned double corks.

Dude, totally doable with that much cash.  if youre not buying beer, and you shop at the right places you can keep your expenses mad low.  and hiking is a cheap alternative to buying lift tickets like timmy said, with the hikers.  for real.
