Hood is gonna go down this year

I was sweating it for a while but in the middle of march already 530 inches so far average is 500. Not as good as last year but laps on mile could be possible into july. YAY

have i said anything untrue???  i believe all ive said is that its way further from the mountain than they lead on and that they should build a jump line so public park isnt clogged by 50 kids hitting the first jump then standing on the knowls of the rest....

sorry for hating on windells, but from the perspective of an outside observer, it just appears completely unprofessional.  i would be pissed if i were a child promised a private park, only to go and ride the public park all week.  and they could do a better job depicting how far away you are from the mountain, and how close to the highway you are.

ive skiied blackcombs public tons, i know what its like...and hey! give it credit, it had one jump haha..but people just been telling me that hoods public is like COC...it kind of sounds too good to be true. i just want to know if its worth making a trip all the way to hood when whistler is only 5 hours away from me

how much is a hood summer pass. I see that they have a spring pass for $99, but I think it expires at the end of march. Will they have any legit deals on a summer pass? I can't find anything on the website...

spring pass is like april, may and some of june, you can also be friends with gapers and get cheap day passes.  you will not find a deal on the summer pass.  ever.

you don't have to apologize... there is plenty of shit to hate on them for. I think the best way to describe the camp is shiesty. I'm saying this as someone who really enjoyed it as a kid and had one of the best summers ive ever had working for them.. but ya real shiesty


im so stoked for hood this summer, I really slowed down on everything but urban in the last year or so and i cant wait to get back in the park . I booked a condo in govy from june 1 to august 1 , pool, sauana, kingsize bed, im fucking stoked . I just really hope the public park is consistently good this year

When i was there blackcomb had a small jump line, none of the jumps went over 25ft, and a C box,
and they have a public pipe.

Hood is the shit.
Their pipe is cut so ridiculously well.
The jumps and the jibs they have are so fucking fun. Its worth checking out at least once in your lifetime for sure. Camp out at the forest service campgrounds, 20$ a night. Im def considering planning a trip to hood this summer, havent been in a couple, want to go back.

dude, i was there 3 years ago in june and it was cut perfect, yea it probably gets shitty towards the end of the season because the snow melts alot, but it was really good and deep in june

i'm trying to do that this summer too, but i think on $400 you'd be the begging for change kind of bum... it seems like the tickets are pretty expensive, but at least the lodging (camping) is cheap,

depends on what time of the summer you go.  mid-july and on youd be fine, cause you can camp in the parking lot and hike to the park, all youd need to spend money one is food.

anybody that skis/lives by mt. hood know what the towns/cities are like around it?
any colleges near it cuz i am highly considering going to college in oregon and what better place than by mt. hood.

and like if there is a college around there anybody know what the lifestyle is like there? people chill? bud good? easy to find a job? etc

everyone is extremely chill haha, its the west coast dude...but theres Mt Hood Community College in Sandy, which is like a half hour down the hill, portland is a little under an hour away and theres a few bigger schoolers there, like U of O and O State

Buy food at Winco in Gresham, food is Govy Town is damn expensive.
Camp for free at the airstrip
Tickets are 50$, insted hike up the climbers trail to avoid partol ( I cant stress this enough)

there are about 30 other forums on Hood in the summer that answer nearly all the questions on this forum

No way dude. Lift tickets are 50$ a day. Fuck hiking the park, it takes to long and too much energy. You will need money for gas and food and whatever else. You should bring a couple g's if you wanna stay for a couple weeks, that way you can be ballin when you go out there. I spent like 800$ in a week. Prob should have bought a pass, but maybe next time
