Photomatix vs photoshop

what program do you think is better for HDR photos?besides the price

I generally use Photomatix to do the HDR process and then do any touch ups in photoshop, come to think of it i haven't done any HDR's in a while.

Photomatix is much better for tone mapping which is how you control and edit the dynamic range, but ive still found that HDRs needed tweaking in PS even after tone mapped in Photomatix. So as Pippen said a combination of both is best, though if done right you could by with either by itself.
