 i was a fan of Candide from the start and i was really down when i saw him break his spine. now that hes restablished tho, with Candide Kamera, I'd like to see him joinin comps, getting known again by the new kids, which i havent really seen and im wondering why. He was one of our sports icons a few years back and theres no reason he shouldnt get back up there with the pros cuz he can go HUGE. hope to see him soon in upcoming events. post your comments.

i feel you man i started in freeskiing watching candide progress the sport... after seeing the first vid of JOSS i started thinkin about candide hittin' the features...that would be epic

he was supposed to be in JOSS last year but he got hurt, he will be in comps next year i'm sure. he basically used this year for a year of rehab.  now that he is back, i'm almost positive next year you will see him killing it again, it was only 2 x's ago he won the gold in the slopestyle. he hasn't come close to being forgotten. and he knows this, thats why he is in no rush

im pretty sure all of the new kids fully know who he is just because he is such a legend. definitely the best skier period. I agree that we need to see more of him

i was stoked for him to make a HUGE comeback at JOSS this year..but...
i hate to say it, but a skier that crazy is bound to get beat up.

I don't think that Candide will go back into comps. He doesn't care about comps. He always did them because he had to. He just wants to shred pow, hit big boooters, skate and smoke weeeed all day.

he hates comps but he loves photo-video sessions or just straight up sessioning with friends. thats why he created the candide invitational so hopefully he'll be able to come to JOSS next year
