In a nutshell J is short for 'Asian Fit' which is a bolstered nose foam.
The reason for a J is that Oakley on their Asian Fit goggles uses the same exact style number as whatever the Crowbar or A-Frame, etc.'s frame color and lens color denotes but they add a J to the end of it. Take for example a JP Auclair Crowbar with Fire Lens is style number 02-875, but when it's an Asian Fit the style number is 02-875J.
you sure? cause i have like 93205432 pairs of crowbars, then i got a pair of crowbar j's. and theyre exactly the same. EXACTLY. i compared it down to the tiniest details, theyre the same
It may have mistakenly come in a J box, because I know my employees won't see the J at times and throw a normal crowbar from display in a J box, etc. I know that the J's have bolstered nose padding to make up for an asian's lack of nose bridge, I'm positive on this because I do a lot of buying for stores with Oakley as well as looking at the invoices we receive from the orders that denote the J's as Asian fit.
