Wyffels Rail Jam For Riley:
For the past 7 years, Breckenridge Ski Resort has hosted the Massive Rail Jam benefit for Matt Wyffels. Matt was a competitive snowboarder who was paralyzed 7 years ago. Matt has overcome many of the challenges of his paralysis by learning to walk again, despite the doctors’ prognosis that he never would. He has even gotten back on a snowboard.
Matt is very gracious for the support he has received over the years from the ski and snowboard community and is honored to have the ability to pass it on. He has decided to donate the majority of funds raised from this year’s event to Riley Poor, a ski movie cinematographer who is currently in recovery from a spinal cord injury.
Skiers and boarders are invited to rally on the rails for a good cause at Breck. There will be prize money on the line for each rail, as well as giveaways and live music. After party to follow.
