Saga is easily the best purple jacket you'll get for that money, 20k waterproofing for $250? not bad.

And don't be concerned if you think you need XL, Saga Large is fucking massive.

Depends how baggy you like your gear - Medium would be like most other company's Large, so if you want something baggy, then go the large
