LAB, TOG, Greek, Song, or that one in Caz, which is best
the thing i would agrue is the park part, i think togg's park rocks, but i hate how tight it is, they need to make it more open, cause in comparison to lab's, its so narrow
word, couldn't agree more, we're looking at new locations for next season. I have some pretty ambitious plans laid out, I'll get updates up as more info solidifies.
haha caz ski hill is an interesting little place, pretty sure they only have one groomer from the 1980's and any sort of "park" they have is set up by the little locals that rip there from time to time. Steep terrain though, prolly pretty fun to shred on a CNY pow day.
I live about a mile from caz and yes it is a pretty small place with basicly no park. But when you get 6+ inch of snow, there are some ridiculous spots to shred. You get up the t-bar and go about 100 yards to the left, there is a huge feild that leads straight into some gnarly drop offs. With wind huge drifts build up in there, and some days ull be skiing 10 ft drops with pillow like features, then shredding about a foot of pow through trees all the way to the bottom. After big storms i always go there and its always fun. But if ur looking for park i'd say togg has the best & lab w/ the second best.
Just so we're clear. Caz ski hill is members only. Out of all of them, definitely my favorite place to ski with a foot of snow. Even for such a small place you get fresh tracks all day. Everything else has been mentioned. Togg: park, food. Greek: glades.
i think snow ridge is wicked sick for pow. its little but the ski patrol really don't care what you do or hit, including all of the cliffs in ravines and such. they get MASSIVE lake effect too. I've been going there my whole life and know the place inside and out. the only place that i've had more fun was the summit of gore on its opening day where they were running the snow makers for like 2 weeks straight lol. if you can make it up, ask patrol where to go for pow. there wicked chill and they will point you in the right direction
