they are the sickest ski ive ever ridden. they were super sweet through the trees but at speeds got a little wobbly. great for kinda jib not so much charging
First of all, I wish they were longer, at least 190cm. If the dimensions stayed the same at least it would help take care of my next complaint, turn radius. Yes, having a 15m turn radius can be fun. But at the cost of stability at speed, I would rather work for my turns than have the ski want to initiate turns.
Overall they are a great ski, I have used them on ice, waist deep powder and everything in between. They float great in the powder and allow pretty effortless turns in the trees. The flex is great, softer at the tip and tail but stiff enough underfoot to handle any condition I put it through. I did wheelie out once at high speed over a roller, first time on a reverse camber/rockered ski. I did not take these skis in to the park at all, but did hit some smaller jumps, natural features around the mountain. They handled pretty well in the air for their size, they are also extremely light if you care about that sort of thing.
I would prefer at least a 190-195cm JJ with a 22-30m turn radius if I could have my own made.
Well from what i've heard the extra tips at the back make you do tricks, and they're big so they're faster. Make sure you get the matching elf shoe boots that go with them, otherwise the skis don't work. I'm going to get some to ride when i'm not using my bigfoots
That argument will go no where. How the fuck do you quantify big? If your 100 lbs, 115 mm is fucking huge. If your 200 pounds, skiing nothing but deep it may not be as big. If your comparing it to standards 5 years ago its huge. This is a stupid thing to argue.
Sorry, I was a bit vague.
That guy was acting like 115 was massive, and that it must be pow only, and I was just saying that just because it's 115 doesn't mean it's for ONLY pow, I mean I ride my Bacons on groomers and they kill it, and I know people that also ride Bents all over the place.
I didn't mean that 115 was too big or small for the thread creator or anything.
See what I'm saying?
