4 days and counting till the best student skiing event there is!! 2500+ ownin Alpe D'Huez for 6 whole days of mad boozin and skiin. The park crew have been workin all season to get it all perfectly shaped up for us next week.

Didnt mean to post that so quick so I'l try jam more info in this as quick as I can.
Rumour has it theres gonna be a 50-60 foot kicker for the big air and a nice 18 foot pipe to try and rip. All this along with live music from night one ensures the maddest week the alps will see this whole season!!

50 - 60 foot kicker? I don't know what rumours you have been hearing but I didn't realise that student skiing went world pro? If it was 50 - 60 foot, would be irresponsible for sure, especially as the level of alcohol consumed before would surely prevent anyone from safely hitting such a jump?!!!

Theres some damn good kids at british unis man! I def know there was a couple kids from manchester uni that competed at the london freeze pre season plus a couple guys def thinkin about doubles this year...
And were not that daft, nobody is gonna be drinkin before competin... We do actually take the comps seriously.

Yeh no doubt there are good skiers but just seems excessive! Would be good to see the uni ski level step up though, I am forever trying to persuade my uni to go freestyle and shits not happening. Would love to see Andy Steele launch off a kicker though, that shit would be messy!!

Maybe this year round the park isnt a shambles! Last year was pretty bad... with puddles leading up to the rails and huge ice patches everywhere. obviously the weather at the start of the week didnt help but still...

anyway, ya... wouldve loved to go.. but 359 pounds minimum was just a bit too steep for me.. Think I paid 289 last year..

haha HUSSKI always have banter. Indeed we dicked on Plymouth so much to the extent that they had to bury their heads in the snow and join the marmotts at our mountain meal! They said "AT LEAST WE'RE NOT A RUGBY CLUB..." Shameful comeback!

Turns out it's actually 30cms, I am definitely going on the shred mish now. Later y'all

30cms?? Gutted i wont be takin my guns with me... Our buses are bein well shit about luggage so i can only take 1 set. Lame!!

That is lame! Even sleazy jet let me take 2 pairs of skis at no extra cost! It has been snowing all day, the snow has been wonderful! I am so tired now though, and my leg hurts...but it's all good.

Shred mish again tomorrow, another foot tomorrow/tonight!
