What the hell is this thing made to do?

Pow-machine with some park and pipe ability built in to it?

Straight up deep pow ski. They're best mounted with Dukes at -9.

a park and pipe ski focussing on slopestyle skiing

with the rocker of the JJ and "elf shoe"  technology this ski has less swing weight than your average park ski, with the rocker it's great for butters and loading up the tails for that extra pop. If you get a chance to demo these skis check it out! we'll be seiing this ski out there a lot more in the future

haha wow dukes on alpha 1's???  That reminds me of a 58 year old guy who came into my shop yesterday saying he needed a binding with wide brakes for his wide skis and when he brought in the skis it was the 157 armada el ray lol.

I think I will take the ARV as the all mountain slopestyle ski......

The Alpha 1 looks more like a park ski with its relatively small tips. I think it would work great here in the midwest in all kinds of conditions, wouldn't you tihnk?

no, it straight up slays the steep and deep but can still dabel in the park.

Having just spent the weekend on them, they're an amazing ski. Super stable, pretty stiff, lots of pop. It was pretty mashed potatoes this weekend because it was 60-70 and the slight rocker lets it float through all the crap. I used them for everything from teaching baby 3s on a 10 footer to hitting our 60 footer and they performed amazingly. Highly recommended,

Whaatt?? Pow ski?? no way.. Are you joking?? They are not wide enough for that to be a good pow ski... Also armada doenst sell it as an pow ski but as an park ski..

I did see something weird on the armada site.. when you look at the overview of all armada skis and you roll over the alpha1 it says:

park 10/10

pipe 9/10

groomers 9/10

powder 5/10

big mountain 4/10

but when you click on the alpha1 and look at the stats in there it is all different!! Then it says:

park 10/10

pipe 10/10

groomers 9/10

powder 8/10

big mountain 8/10

pretty weird stuff... f*cking with my mind..

But I think you can say that if you are a pretty small guy and dont weigh to much you could really use it as an park ski and as an good powder ski.. I'm getting JJ's for pow but will never use them in park..

Armada's site was one reason I posted this.

Plus the tip and tail was too small for any serious powder. So it's like a slim...rockered ski.

Not sure what the fuck that is for....

hahahahaha i cant beleive someone would actually mount that ski at that spot, let alone with that binding. lol...the guy that sold that packaage was probally laughing his head off afterwords
