try to check them outside after you get your bording pass. its usually cheaper coming into the airport then when your actually speaking to the teller where you receive your ticket. could be up to a $100 dollar difference but well worth it having your own skis
my understanding is that this is now standard procedure for all airlines. i flew to whistler and it was exactly the same prices, but on United. 15 for 1st bag, 25 for each additional
i was gonna try to do it with 2 bags by cramming all my ski stuff (boots, pants,helmet) in my ski bag.
But i am very concered about having all my shit "misplaced" by airport employees, has anyone had issues with this?
