peace
There was a pair at my local ski shop (the ones in the middle of the pic, white green and blue) but they got sold pretty quick. Idk how they got em but I felt the grip and they were sick!!!! 4 finger grab!!!
if a company were smart, they would make a cheap ski pole specifically for jibbers.. that way we could pay like 10$ for a sick looking pole, and when it broke (like most poles do) we could go buy a pole without having to steal some rentals.
I just can't justify spending 75 dollars on a pole if I have almost no reason using it besides pushing off the lift and whatnot. Powder is a different question and some people like longer poles for groomers, but a majority of kids use tiny poles anyways simply for balance.
so basically my point is that SOMEONE should just make a cheap, basic, good looking pole that could easily be replaced. the company would probably end up profiting alot from it, and most people would probably like it.
I really like tha Scott Joystick and Armada poles. But i think they are all too strong an have shafts that are too thick. The skinny junirs poles or even Goode Carbons are nice because in a fall they bend instead of puncture. Also bend before you nail yourself in tha jaw like that dumbass on ski patrol who pretty much put a pole through his face. Cheaper is better cause their gonna break anyways. Tha new line pole have a really goor price point, nice grips, and are cool looking. So kudos to them.
what i wanna do is get some rental poles, rip off the grips. buy some small bike grips, attach them to the pole. then drill two holes that connect into the grip, and thread a similar material into the hole(haven't figured out what yet).
