Buy a rail?

Anywhere I could buy a rail for not too expensive?  Also, how much would it cost me to build one myself.  I'm talking a legit rail/box.

OR:  If someone wants to build one for me I'll pay them.

they make really legit rails. They set up like resorts and shit to.
Im not sure how much they charge. I know i got a quote on a 1 foot wide, 1 foot high and 10 foot long box and it was like 350. I ended up building it myself and it cost me 300.  Im regreting it now hahaha

You can build legit rails yourself for like 50 or so bucks. It just takes a lot of time to do it.

a legit rail costs a decent amount because to buy the hard quality steel you need is expensive. I had a 15' plat bar made for about $300 and it is super legit, just like a resort rail. It's bomb proof and free standing and also for sale to anyone in the tahoe area.

build your own, you can make it how you want it to be and its alot better for me at least since my dad is a carpenter.

This took me around 1 day and cost me around 22$ (i think the person at Home Depot got the price wrong) haha
Its like 2 off the ground (not in the snow) and like 12 feet long..
It is such a good rail i was ridin it all winter and the only thing that was bad was a little chip in the PVC. Click for larger image

i bought all the materials for this for 25$ including pressure treated wood for the base. heres an edit, the rail broke once so i put some metal supports on. took me maybe an hour and a half

PVCs are good and all, but my edges dug into mine and they cracked eventually. Kab rails looks pretty legit but i might just get a friend to weld me one for next winter

haha, i wish. I built it very uniquely. I built it using a bunch of 2x2's. cost me like 30$ than my plywood cost like 20. my plastic cost me 70. the screws were like 10. and the spraypaint all totalled up was about 50 (I put 3 coats on all the sides) and than the expesive part was putting speakers inside the box. complicated process. but for 2 outdoor speakers and a deck ran me about 120$

any fab shop can make you a rail, most welders can set you up wth something. just look in the phonebook for a fabrication shop, and most metal recyclers will have odball pieces of stock.

I built this in like 20 minutes, and spent another 20 painting it, lol. It has two braces on the other side that you cant see and they keep it nice and sturdy. Its 10' long and ~A foot tall.

there is a welding shop right next to my school and they weld urban rails. My school redid the sprinkler system and i was thinking of taking some of the pipes to the shop and having them weld me a rail.

i built a 12 foot 3 pipe wide pvc rail/box, took one day, took wood from construction sites (free) and got the pipe from my grandpa's hardware store (free)

Just stole 2 10 ft pipes from a neighbor.  Will those work?  Do i have to wax em?  and how do i screw them down...i cant just screw through metal can i?
