Replying to whats the deal with ex's?

ok, so here's the story, i went out w/ this guy for 3 months, then he cheated on me w/ my best friend(while i was in the same house). so went and yelled at him and broke up with him. i've tlked to him once or twice since then, but i have called him each time, he's not called me since the breakup, (3 months ago). then today he called and asked for this guys #, although i know for a fact he already has it, then he hung up, and didnt try to make any conversation, what is his deal. and what should i do? (i think i still like him....)
