Replying to SPK vs. Foil boots on groomers
OK so I have Line Invaders, I´m 6'1''ish long and I weigh about 215lbs. I ski 60 / 20 / 20 park and jibbing / trees and powder / groomers.
Now I´m about to buy a new pair of boots, and first I thought I might buy Salomon SPK Kaos boots, but then I thought I will buy Line Prophet 90s for groomers, trees and pow (if I find any). So I´d like a boot that´ll do justice for both skis, and from what I had heard the SPK wouldn´t be a good choice cause it sucks at groomers.
So then I thought the Salomon Foils would be a better choice, even though they´re not so suberb in park and at jibbing.
But then I noticed that the flex of The Kaos (90) is bigger than the flex of the Foils (80) (at least that´s what it says on Salomon´s home page).
So do the SPK Kaos boots suck at groomers, trees and powder so bad that it would be better to sacrifice some of the park and jibbing ability and get the Foils? And how suitable are the Foils for jibbing and park?
I also considered Full Tilt boots, even though they are hard to find here where I live and I don´t know if they fit my feet or not because I can´t test them anywhere. I know the Hot Doggers are kinda like the SPKs, but are the High Fives like the Foils or are they not meant for park at all?
