Physics and drop ins

can someone do the math on what angle, height, and length is the most efficient for getting speed on a drop in. say mass is 80kg, and coefficient of kinetic friction is like .5.

There isn't enough information there... technically, the height could be anything, countered by the angle of the ramp...

Give limits, and whatnot. A 45º angle ramp is gonna be steep enough that you don't lose all of your speed on the transition, but ideally you could make a proper transition to help with that.

But yea there isn't enough information there to do any calculations.

False, you must have failed physics.
The angle doesn't change the velocity at the bottom. If you think of it in terms of energy, it's the same throughout the drop. The only thing that the angle affects would be the normal force which, in turn, affects the frictional force.

Was that really necessary??? Seriously.

And I don't care what you say, because I know that if I have a 6' tall ramp, because friction IS in play, a 45degree ramp is gonna give me much more speed than a 20degree ramp. End of discussion.
