when i shoot in S mode and sports mode my canera is extremley slow, when i hold down the button it starts to take the photo and takes around 20 seconds to finish the photo
S mode is shutter control not sport, the sport mode is the little man running.
The reason that it shots so slow is because your shutter speed is long. all you have to do is spin the little click wheel and that will change the shutter speed accordingly.
so I read your post again and i apologize, I thought that you thought that Shutter control was sport mode and it confused me.
as for your problem then, I'm not sure, I would see if you can manually change the shutter speed in S mode. As for sport mode, I've never used it so I'm not sure what you can adjust on it.
Yes I have ideas, but first I need to know what you are shooting and how you want to shoot them.
No, if you have your cam in S mode you can't change the shutter cause it does it for you automatically. That's the whole point of it. The only thing you change manually in that mode is the Aperture, oh and iso speed.
ok all of you guys are retarted... the S mode means shutter priority which means that you pic the shutter and the camera adjusts the apture. with that said the A mode is the oposite. you pick the apeture and the camera adjusts the shutter. the M mode is fully manual, which is what you should be on because you can adjust the two of them and more (ISO, light meetering, exposure, colors ect.) the sport mode is completely pointless because it is just the same as auto.
if you have any questions on manual settings hit me up with a PM
That's what I fucking said. But at the same time if you read his post it seems like he is having this issue on both S and on sport mode (why you would use a preset is beyond me but whatever) and I told him how to fix the S mode problem.
