Backmounting on line chronics

Hey, this is my first real set of skis i purchased [comes in friday], i was wondering, line recommends 4-6cm back, i was going to do around 2-3cm back from center, is that okay? also how would it effect it if the ski is slight directional and i center mounted? would i notice much difference if its 2-3cm back? im about 80% park 20% groomers so was just curious.

the recommended mounting point is typically disregarded. people mount them for their personal preference

if you're skiing 80% park, you're probably going to want them at center, -1, or -2, because that improves your switch skiing...

-2 sounds good to me, leaves them still really functional outside of the park

Personally, I don't really like a non-symmetrical ski mounted at true center. I would go -1 to -3.

is there any cons to riding it centered if its a directional ski [not symmetrical]. but yeah im most likely doing around 1, 1.5, or 2

i center mounted my chronics and theyre great everywhere. i never had em mounted back at all so im not sure how much that would have helped, i cant imagine it would be better though.
