after some deliberation, I decided that it was an instance on a c-box where lip on the box wasn't covered and I caught the inside edge and ended up going down the box on my back. I slid down and off the whole thing on my back/head with both skis attached. Only to get approached by some other boarders asking if I was alright, which I was.
so i naturally spin rightside, and nobody at my home mountain really cares about spinning unnatural except me. i have a pretty good reputation at bristol as being a decent skiier, and one day i started trying to learn left spins. turns out they are kinda hard. i spent the next hour of that day hiking the same jump trying to nail left fives. everytime i land leaning way forward and flip forward, or i just underrotate and catch an edge. i smash my face in the snow at least 5 times. everyone on the chairlift thinks im spinning naturally since its to the left, and they are all watching an 17 year old kid wreck himself time after time trying to 5 a tiny ass jump. then a 10 year old kid does a 5 safety right as im about to go and his friend tells me "you should ask him how to do it."
Ok this was like 5 or 6 weeks ago i just pulled a nice 9 mute off a jump and then i rode away switch for like 30 ft about then i reverted (it was the last jump) when i revert i dunno wat happened but my edge caught and i did a side-flip on the ground both my skis popped off then some stupid gaper comes up to me and asks if i'm all right i say yea then he tells me that even though i'm pretty good at "jumps and stuff" he says that i should learn how to ski "when on the ground" i felt like shit
that would suck
but at least u didnt nut urself
