No hate is intended. I just want to understand why Kristi did this event. Certainly she has been around long enough to know how an event might be promoted to help with "progression" as she is quoted as saying several times in the article.
In these tough times, it just seems to me that this was a self indulgent waste of sponsor money that Kristi had put on for her friends that no one saw or knew was happening. Reading about the event, after the fact just makes it looks like it was an elite get together for those lucky enough to get the invite. I don't understand how this helps progress the sport.
I guess it was cool for the clueless $300 per night people from Pittsburgh to see that girls can do 30 foot jumps and rails and that 30 kids got to meet someone they never heard about for the first time.
I guess my question is, who paid for that event? Like someone is going to tell me. hahaha
