Question for the NS girls

its my last semester of high school and all the prom hype is beginning to start. lemme preface this by saying that im not really a huge fan of the whole prom deal. I know who i'm gonna ask, but i just wanted some NS girls opinions first: whats a good, creative way to ask a girl to prom?

please no haters on this thread. and i'm specifically looking for girls opinions here

I just did the whole "write a note saing 'will you go to prom with me?' and then made the 'yes', 'no', and 'maybe' boxes then stuck it to her locker. Worked like a charm.

I don't get the big deal about like, signs going down the road asking someone to prom or whatever. Spending hours and money on a simple question. If she's cool she'll say yes however you ask.
I, quite personally, would have been kind of freaked out if it was anything other than a straight up question.

wut my bro did is draw chalk on the side walk leading his gf to different places and finally it got to a place and said look up and on a fence with those red dixie cups he put them in the fence holes and spelt prom

why do people put so much effort into asking a girl out to prom?

i'd think that a girl will either want to go to prom with you, or she wont, and some crazy-elaborate scheme wasting your own time and her time will not sway her decision.

I also agree with this. Just keep it simple and ask her. I don't think it is necessary to go all out. Some guys like the idea but I don't really think it is essential. Just be yourself and I am sure she will say yes. Good luck with it.

well is the girl you have in mind someone you think would say yes? 1) you don't want to put a bunch of time into something and have her say no 2) let's say she was planning on going with someone else, she'd feel a lot of pressure to say yes to you.

i think the elaborate stuff's a waste of time. if you're close friends, just do something simple? hmm lemme thinkk

i always just was like "dude, you dont have someone to go to prom with yet right? sounds good. you + me = prom fa sho."


also, for my Sr. prom, i didn't have a date because I spent the whole time skiing and didnt ask anyone... so i stood outside the entrance with a sign saying "prom date got kidnapped by ninjas, need money for a new corsage" and i ended up with 3 prom dates... granted, my graduating class was 900 people, so i did not know either of these chicks, so it was DOPE.

if you want someting elaborate:

take a plastic kid pool put it in her room fill it up with water get gold fish from pet co and put them in the pool and make a sign that says out of all the fish in the sea i pick you and then when she sees the pool  you come out and say will you go to prom with me. its been done before but its creative.

2 of my friends did creative things:

1st: shave into your hair "prom?"

2nd: the girl in question was in his class and he was doing a end of year PP presentation and the last slide was " _____, will you go to prom with me?"

Personally i just asked a girl straight up, but thats me
