Skiing/Boarding Game...

So the site for the game progress will be launching in the next few weeks with a progress blog, some media, and a jobs section.

Keep your eyes peeled, and sorry if I have not answered any pm's I am getting like 20-30 a day about this.

It is happening and the art stage is fully under way and we have purchased rights to one of the best engines available for what we are trying to do.

If you know any solid engine coders please speak up, we need dev help on the code side of things until we launch fully into the engine development.

appreciate it, but gimme karma when the game is playable on the end user end :: ) Also I encourage people to PM me, even if I don't write back, I love hearing your thoughts and ideas. Pretty much set on what direction we are taking with the game, but I am always open to new ideas.

Also will try and get some sample art posted up to show the different styles we are toying with to get your thoughts.

I know how I want the game to look, but I am not the only one who will be playing it, so I wanna know what everyone else wants.

physics will be realistic yes, the style of the characters is up in the air still.

please for the love of god make this work on a mac. PCs already have jibberish and jibin, Macs dont have anything

like I mentioned above, it will be playable on a mac, and this isn't jibberish, or jibin heh, this is not an arcade style game, it will be a fully developed game with regularly rolled out updates and expansions.

Will you be working with a team or go solo like 02 skiing game.
How devoted are you to this, full time or for fun. 02 skiing and jibbin hasn't seen an update in a while, because of the lone fact they do it for fun and got bored of it.

.It is being produced by my game design firm in Burlington VT.

As to the question about paying or not, that is up in the air. I'd love to offer it for free, but it will come down to monthly costs to keep the game up and running that will make that decision.
