Pretty much the sickest grab ive ever seen and I thought that if even just a few people hadnt seen it... it was worthy of a thread for those people to see it. Anddd it hasnt had many views so hopefully some people will have a new background :)Click for larger image

it is a really sick picture but i think people who rate photos either rate like some like dumont or tanner hall just because thats all they have heard off or the people vote on sick shots for people they havent heard of like amateurs

that grab is pretty awesome but so is the c-box shot w/ the sun. i feel like the box one is crisper

Maybe because people are rating on composition too? Although that is a sick grab the composition isn't as good as others, although it is a great grab

1. you dont have a real impression where he is (related to landing/take-off)

2. theres only white, light blue and the very bright colours of his snowwear in this shot. so theres missing a few colours

i mean, its a good shot, but not great or top

i dont mean to disrepectful, but i dont think that things should be looked at as great just because the person in question has passed on. if it is sick, its sick. giving thing false credit out of sympathy isnt right. however both photos in this thread in question are both sick, for photographic and skiing purposes.

i get what you are saying..
but the fact that that is a cut above most shots that turn up here merged with what happened is HUGE.
to me, that picture captures an unreal amount of emotion.
reminds me why i ski, and how blessed i am to be able to ski as much (or as little) as i do.
