Why couldn't people have listened to the independents this election, god...

basic economics people,

If i have one apple and you have one apple, than my apple could be traded for another apple

If for some fucking reason some ass hole decides to make an apple puller out the ass machine and pulls 10 apples out of his ass than all of the sudden my apple is only worth one tenth of an apple. so fuck me right?

currency can be almost anything.

Currency is a unit of exchange facilitating the exchange of goods or services.

the beauty of using a dollar, (currency) to facilitate the exchange. is now we do not have to barter. there is no need for a double coincidence of wants.

but yea the majority of the government's wealth is fabricated. thats how they can afford such huge ass machines to fight Iraqis with! Also why the government owes the federal reserve like 10 trillion, they keep borrowing more and more but never pay back. because they own that shit.

im pretty sure the government prints money all the time. if you only knew the half of what government did you would still be outraged.

the only thing thats going to happen by printing more money is just devaluing our dollar even more. since our economy is in the shits right now i dont think anybody really cares right now. they should, but the are not.

It seems Obama and Biden are again out on the campaign trail, personally ide rather them be in washington FIXING something, just so long as they dont fuck something up worse.

actually they are now since obama and the teamsters played with fire with mexico....apples are our only product that mexico wants that it hasn't imposed an overnight tariff on.

some of the 90 products they did: christmas trees, onions, pears, apricots, cherries, strawberries, grapes, dried fruit mixes, lettuce, potatoes, peas, almonds, fruit and vegetable juices, prepared soups, wine, pet foods, shampoo, hairspray, dental floss, aftershave, deodorant, plastic kitchenware, printer paper, toilet paper, refrigerators, coffee makers, dishwashers, washing machines, sunglasses, ballpoint pens, marking pens, pencils and yarn.

and yes, i used to make currency analogies with aftershave.

I was listening to Fox news today on the radio with my mom, and dont quote me word for word. There are reports that Obama's spending is supposed to be either 10 trillion (or 100trillion not sure but its one of the 2; both are absurd amounts) higher than what he originally thought it would be.

And Im sure we all know about the AIG bonuses.

just because the other guy got 10 apples out of no where, doesnt mean his apple is worth less. its still worth an apple. just the other guy has more apples.

thats like saying i have 1 dollar, i can trade it for another dollar. if a guy come along who just printed money in his money press with 10 dollars, i can still trade him 1 dollar for one dollar...

see you have the same product. inflation is based on multiple products. if everyone just had 1 apple, an orange would only cost 1 apple. but if everyone had 100 apples, well you can then raise the price of the orange, decreasing the value of the apples.

im not disputing inflation. i was disputing him saying you couldnt use an Apple as currency.  which im sure we can agree on you could use. hell we could use bricks if you wanted. its the medium of exchange.  whethere we trade dollars, apples, bricks, cars, rocks, etc.

you just detailed out an example where the apple clearly loses buying power because the amazing apple producing asshole creates 100 of them.  you also say your apple is not worth less because you can still trade it for another apple... my friend, since we live in a world where everything's worth is relative, and no one makes a business out of trading apples for other apples, we can clearly say the man who creates apples out of his ass is devaluing that deliciously tasty, yet healthy currency.
