I've never seen someone so confident, comfortable, strong and nimble in my life. Zero hesitation. I wish Mr. Thovex would wake up the big mountain circuit to what is possible.

I usually dont get too hard watching big mountain skiing, but that was just unreal. The lines he chose were jaw dropping and the fact he just stomps them.



One things for sure tho, if he does wanna make a LEGIT come back, he's gotta throw more then a tail grab :-D

ahhhhh that was so epic!

he skis like no other...that cork 7 off the cliff was the most perfect cork 7 i've ever seen. his switch corks are so awesome too...he doesn't cork right off the jump, he spins regular off the jump switch, then corks it when he's already in the air...so sick.

all those lines were ridiculous and he just CHARGED them.


Also, in that ^ Xgames video I had to go back and watch it like 3 times, I couldn't believe that was a cork 10, it looked like a 7, it was so smooth.

The music was perfect. The shots were amazing. The skiing was on point.

i absolutely love that run, he afterbangs the whole course before we even knew what afterbang was, the edit was byfar the best edit ive ever seen in the BC, he charged that so ridiculously hard and has so much style, also that movie has like box-office quality how its filmed and everything

That edit left me speechless. First of all, the That's It That's All style shots and editing were amazing. Candide didn't hesitate on anything... it didn't even look real. I've never seen anyone ski like that. Those were some serious lines, and he charged and aired off of every cliff. double-stagers included. Easily the best display of backcountry skiing I've seen. He was so incredibly comfortable on his skis through everything, wow. And Candide's air sense is off the charts. You can just tell by the way he approaches a jump or cliff that he knows exactly what's he going to throw, when he's going to grab, and that he'll absolutely stomp the shit out of it. I can't wait to see more of his skiing in the future. It looks like Candide is back and on a completely new level. Nothing but stoke after watching that.

That was legit on every level. The skiing was mazing. He skis with such confidence, especially after such a traumatic injury. The editing was also top notch. One of the best edits I've ever seen.
