i ski on the invaders and i love how they are symmetrical i dont have any problems its a little weird at first but then after you get used to it its way better
True center is just like it sounds, its the halfway mark of the ski, and on a symmetrical ski, its right at the narrowest point of the ski, boot center is a more traditional mounting position, it is probably a few centimeters behind true center, but if you mount there your defeating the purpose of a symmetric ski.
So mounting true center will allow the ski to behave the way it was designed and it will probably carve better both forwards and switch.
my friend had an old pair of invaders that were both mounted backwards (graphically) and didnt realize it til' i told him. No biggie obviously, just funny.
