Fuck I hit enter... by accident. Thread title was supposed to be Look px12 or Salomon sth12's? I own STH's already, but should I buy a pair of px12 at a cheaper price or are they worse than the STH's?
Can you be more specific. What's your height/weight? What type of terrain are you going to be skiing? How aggressive are you? Need more info to give you a good answer
Gonna use them on my new anthems, so mostly for park riding and general cruising groomers and stuff. These are gonna be my jib skis and I ride pretty aggressively at 5'9" and about 160 pounds
I would suggest going with a higher DIN binding then. They'll be more expensive, but I've had some problems with 12 DIN bindings in the past, and you weigh more than I do.
Hmm well I never have any problems with pre-release on my current setup 168 Line chronics with STH12 (only at 8), and I can't afford anything nicer. Keep in mind I am not speaking of the look px12 ti jib's just the px12 jib wb, but I didn't know they were sturdier than the STH's. I will probably pick them up since I can get them cheaper.
yeah i got the px 12 jibs they are sick...cheap and really sturdy..
the only cons i have with them are they are kinda heavy and the break is kinda weak..
my friend went through two breaks in the past 2 years..
but overall they are nice and there is absolutely no problems wit pre-relsease
I've always held a look/rossi card when it comes to bindings, but the STH would be ok for what you want to do..
Basically the same toe as the z12 which is average, but a much better heeltrack .
Personally the PX12 would be my choice
