ok so i drove my ass from rhode island to mt washington after checking the avalache advisory etc. It was warm and sunny so i hiked up lobster claw..and skied down...it was ugly and no "steeze"and a storm blew in
learning exp.
1. tucks still a humbling expierance ... i need more practice
2. if you are going soon i reccomend crampons...i wish i had them for the last 1/2hour of the hike. snow was slippery. bring a goretex jacket.... The rain and snow sucked
3.avalanches were the last concern....the weather and wind changes extrodinarily fast
4.try to keep your ski boots warm..they were a pain in the ass to get on
5.skiing down after the ravine is a nice FREE reward
6.check in and out at pinkham
thats all i got
