i was told line is the same thing as armada, i choose nto to beleive it. But who does really knwo what theyre tlkaing about? why is a business man claiming this outrageouse claim?

I heard that armada made a prototype ski that they are calling a 'super' ski and its gonna have rocket launchers attached to it, but hey thats just what I heard.

Well I dont think it owuld be the same because ven if they were made in the same factory, the basic contstruction of the skis is different. I belive Line skis are made with abs sidewall construction, whereas Armadas are made with some p2000 petx sidewalls or some such, which is a differnt for of construction, each with their own benefits and losses. The basic dimensions of the skis are different as well, and the core inside is very differnt. Armadas are known to be a stiff ski whereas lines are known to be softer.

this rumour was kinda started by me, so i take the blame from all you flamers...but a shop owner told me that they are the same skis when we got into discussing independant ski companies. as in, same factory, same construction. i dont know if i believe it either though.

by same construction what do you mean? arent lines abs? And also, same factory doesnt mean much, alot of skis are made in the elan factory.

Who the fuck cares where the skis are made? Besides, everybody knows the Armadas are a direct rip-off from the Scratch's. Just look at the slanted sidewalls and nearly identical dimensions and flex...

Well you know sir, when i was 8 my teacher used to whip me to try and teach me lessons and I would yell and it would hurt and blood would spill, and every night I would walk back into her room and she owuld whip me more, and it would bleed more, but theres one thing I learned, and I think it applies: you shouldnt say 'everybody knows' before explaining some random piece of balony you made up yourself.

I heard they are made in the same factory, but I skied Lines last year and Armadas this year, and TRUST ME... Armadas are a million bajillion times better than anything Line has ever made.

lines are made by karhu in canada, and last I heard armadas were being pressed by some other canadian company, zeplo or something like that. You would have to be blind to not see major differences in construction, nothing alike....

line skis are not made by karhu, they just share the same factory, and presses. they are completely different companies, but im pretty sure, many of their skis are exactly alike or used to be, except karhu sells them under different names, graphics, and as telemark skis. thast how it was a couple years ago at least i think...

Line and Armada used to be made in the same town (loretteville, Québec, Canada)but not in the same factory. I know coz I live like 5 mintues from there. But now armadas are being built in Europe.
