well from experience this is what i know: prophet 100's are a siiiick charging ski, it literally destroys anything you throw at it, from light pow, to ice & crud. the down side is that it is made to be a more of a freeride ski and not much a freestyle ski, so if that is what you want the 100 will deliver. blends are more of a 1 ski quiver (freestyle/freeride), i'm still waiting for my pair to arrive but i'm sure that i'll love them. using them as my everyday do everything ski (only can afford 1 pair), they will be replacing my 06 chronic wides so i'll still need to use them for park, pow and allmt during thew next 2 seasons (if they hold up). heard sooo many great things about them so i'm stoked! bacons i haven't tried but anyone who owns a pair swears by them. supposed to be a sick allmt, freestyle, pow ski with a much more softer flex all though it will still hold an edge and rip. i'm sure someone else could elaborate a bit more on these.
185 JJ, i've never been on a pow ski that skied everything so well. pro-forming a pair next year.
the perfect ski is the 4frnt ehp
stiff and good shape for charging yet its still fat and rockered so a lot of fun
i would go this ski over the jj for charging but the jj is more suited to all mountain + freestyle
also consider the hellbent, they are the funnest ski ever, and fine in chopped pow/ crud, just not hard packed steeps
