Who agrees that Freeskier Magazine is a terrible representation of our sport.

so true transworld skateboarder makes an AM edition each year and its dope. Someone said its a great representation of skiing, maybe to the non-ns ski culture, or the sponsers who want to know their athlete is placing and those young ones watchin x-games but in my eyes it ruins the sport. as its focus primarily is on those 20 skiers doing the same things with the same runs in the same competitions year in and out who really cares. I agree somebody has gotta cover this- if u want to sell to the mainstream corporate audience -we still have a lot to learn from skating and snowboarding even in their magazines transworld really has a good balance by still having a corporate audience/ covering the big name events and all the crews whether big or up and coming pushing their different aspects - ns is something the two (skate/board) never had -brought ppl a long way to get the sport where we are but now were begining to see everyone with the same styles because the freeskier/ns bring this close-minded very tight knit community-ppl are gonna be sick of the 270 on pretzel by the kid in the solid color tall t ppl like wesson who are just doin their own thing and mixin it up are gonna push a big change a better magazine exposing at least SOME of this would help.
