Motorcycle Accident Pictures...yes intense dont look if you get grossed out

so I had a really bad biker crash a couple of days ago at work (the warm weather here brought em out).

it reminded me of this series of photos that they showed us at class about a year ago, and i did some searching and found them online. i searchbarred and didnt see anything about this on here, even though this is somewhat old news.

just doing this as a sort of PSA, be careful now that the bikes are coming out, always pay attention dont cut them off. also, i was in OH visiting my gf over the weekend, and it seems like no one out there ever wears a helmet.... im not telling you bikers what to do...but those of you who dont wear helmets end up being our organ donors here at the hospital.

That was fucking gross. Its kinda weird how his head seems to have no abrasions on it, yet he is cut in two. I cant imagine what could have caused this.

i dont know why, its just such a ridiculous picture to comprehend.. how did his head get stuck in a truck?

somebody whos driving a motorcycle at 120 mph does, thats pretty fucking dumb. i would have more sympathy if he had been going anywhere close to the speed limit

damnnn im going to get a bike soon you might see me like that haha hopefully not but ill admit im an idiot like that i rolled my truck when i went and passed somebody when the road was full of snow and i was going 60 and hit a bump haha that was probably one of the funnest experiences of my life though haha i live to the extremes.

Drivers Ed here in GA, this cop came in, and he had 3 books of death, which basically were pictures of car wrecks and bodies afterwards... and some ppl in the class knew the ppl in the wreck... that shiit, was way fucked up...

That's fucked up dude. How can you say that? You're telling me you've NEVER gone fast in a car? So if you had an Audi R8 you wouldn't see what it could do? I highly doubt that....

That's like saying people who duck backcountry ropes to get fresh tracks deserve to die...

im calling this a grey area. speeding in open public roads, late night or not, is not the best of ideas. if you ask any hardcore sportbike rider, they will tell you only ride fast on the track.

i also seem to think that there was the insinuation that alcohol contributed to the crash. 120 mph on a bike with booze? unconscionable.

there is risk taking involved in everything from getting out of bed in the morning to playing russian roulette, but there is different degrees of risk involved. i think in general doing double the speed limit on a open freeway probably qualifies as too much risk, ESPECIALLY since you are involving other people unknowingly in your risk taking.

I agree completely. There is nothing wrong with doing 120 on a bike under certain circumstances. Best place would be a closed track for sure. I've gone 130 on a bike before, but it was on a road in the middle of nowhere in montana where I could see for miles and see no other cars, and there were no woods for deer to run out of, and i had ridden the road before to make sure it was in good condition.

however, going 120 in traffic, at night, and with alcohol (where'd you get the alcohol thing? thats just stupid no matter how fast you going haha) is not a good idea, at all.

no thats not what im saying at all.

ive gone fast, but my max is 103 in a car and i was pretty scared. maybe im just a pussy but i dont care. but even then, it was on a completely straight rode when i could see clearly, i would never do it in any other condition. and frankly, i dont think going 103 is ok. i consider myself very lucky to have gone fast and made it through, because what i was doing was very very stupid. just because i criticized this guy doesn't mean i won't criticize myself.

and if somebody skied backcountry when the avalanche danger is extremely high (which is more what this is equivalent to) and they were caught in it, i would feel bad but it would definitely be an 'i told you so' situation.
