Supposedly spirit wasn't to happy with our session last year. This years should be interesting.

That's just what I heard, chances are super sesh will happen with no problems. We may just want to keep it a little more low key this year.

no, low key as in not having as much un-necessary stuff put up so it doesn't look like a sponsored event. It looked a little to organized last year I think, haha.

yeah i think we'll be fine as long as it doesn't look like a full-out event. i thought i remember hearing somehow spirit was mad there was red bull in the sobe terrain park (which is BS because i dont think theres a damn thing sobe has done for us).

shouldn't be a problem. it is public property as far as i know and if people can mtn bike on the hill in april/may, we should be allowed there too. not worried.

as far as conditions, we might have a bit less snow than last year, might have to be late april if the snow is melting fast. thoughts?

I remember a few years back we did it late April and there was plenty of snow. Maybe shoot for late April?

Last years sesh also invaded on the pad for the damage comp. They felt that if they have to pay for an after season comp that there should not be other non paying events. Seems reasonable. Last year was a little to legit for it not to be legit.

ya, we just gotta make it so it's not overly legit, otherwise it will become un-legit. So, if we can make it sorta legit, while still being legit at the same time, supersesh will once again be legit!

what about doing it like one or two weeks after the hill cross which is the 11th and 12th i think? so like 18th 19th? and then we may have enough snow for like a legit jump? plus we would probably have more options on where it could be?

spirit made the pad right away after they closed last year, so that will probably be the best place for it. they do move the rails onto the pad, but they lock up the ones damage wants to use, so we have to move all the rails anyways...

hopefully they don't lock them all up, then we'll just have to have HESHsesh '09 and do janky-ass-shit.

and yes, i concur. seems to me, the most legit way to legitimize supersesh, in what could possibly be an unlegitifying occurrence, would be by reducing only the perceived legitness of supersesh while retaining, if not legitimately improving upon, past legiti-levels, so we can again legitimately sneak away with an ultimately unligitimate super-legit, legitimately core event, that is actually really is legitimately legit for those who legitly partake, while appearing legitimately non-legit to others or sub-legit enough to not bother, allowing the annual minne-supra-legita-mega-post-season-super-sesh (MSLMPSSS / super sesh) to be legitimately underway, under the radar of the extra-legitless spirit mtn.

so legit... follow?

Matt's hitching post was really cool last year, I think we need more original jibs like that instead of rails we have been sliding all year, I think it would be legit in that sense because its not spirits shit so they cant do anything, plus it would make the riding very distinct to super sesh.

But easy to kick you out for sliding THEIR rails, that THEY LOCKED UP, and building jumps with THEIR snow that THEY made.

Don't take our post season for granted. In the past they haven't cared, we can only hope it stays that way.
