Paragliding

I'm thinking of doing a paragliding course, is anybody into it or have any experience doing it? I just want some information on it to decide whether it would be worth all the money.

i went sky diving which made me want to get into paragliding. Apparently when you are really good you can go on 7 hour flights here.

I don't have any other friends into it right now or the money to chase it. I hope to do so in the future though.

Your not by any chance in Vancouver or somewhere in BC are you?

I wish! nope England. I think I would probably go to france or switzerland in the summer to do it. I'd like to sky dive too but that is over in a few minutes but you can can have a full day of flying with a paraglider and it just looks epic.

Be ready to part with alot of money, but once its donw, you got your own kit and live in some mountains, its the best thing ever. Just soaring around without a care in the world is immense i have to say. I have done my basics course, and although i cant fly solo yet just flying tandem is pretty awsome, cant wait till summer when i get my full course done and i can finnally go solo without instructor guidence!
