Yo so I just re did my website from its crappy old state.

This isn't a hey look at my website its cool; more so I want to make sure everything is loading correctly and its fast enough in terms of image loading time. If you have any comments or suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated.

the pics are Badass i will give you that, but it would be nice to have a navbar going across the top so you dont have to backtrack with the back button and to be honest, not being an ass cause i know how hard it is to make a website (did it in high school for the school yearbook and newspaper) the homepage is kinda...  meh looking.....  just my opinion though

I am a little confused when you mean backtracking? There are arrows on the pictures along with the ability to click the thumbnails. Do you mean like a sliding thing, where you can just go across the entire bottom or side with thumbnails?

And yeah I completely agree with the homepage 100% I don't really like it but all I have is Iweb and thats the extent of its capabilities haha I Want to do a flash intro or something but those skills are far beyond me. It took me long enough to set this up haha.

what im talking about the back tracking, is there is no navbar to jump to other albums which means someone will need to use the back button on their browser to go look at other albums.  its not a big deal but it is slightly annoying.


look into getting dreamweaver or something.  i used that to make the websites i did, and with just the little maual thing that comes with the program you know how to do a fair amount of stuff.  only problem is, dreamweaver from what i remember can be a bit pricey.

i noticed that when you click on the "winter sports/other sports" categories that in the top left corner there is a "home" button

but when you click on the "personal artwork" button you look at the top left corner it says "homepage"

to keep continuity you should change it to "home" instead of "homepage." or change all of them to "homepage"

i forgot to mention that your site is very nice, i like the black background, its alot easier on the eyes. i dont like 'white' websites.

oh and the pictures are very nice, keep up the good work!

Dope photos, i would have something with more impact as your picture for your homepage and make the return to home more consistent.  My buddy has a series of photos that are in a slideshow on his homepage that gives exaples of all the different things he shoots, i think it is sweet and instantly shows the depth of your skills, that being said I have no techyness so i dont know how easy that is to set up.

I agree, do you think it'd be better with just a solid ski shot or art shot? I honestly have no idea how to embed a slideshow in iweb, I don't think in its crappy self it can do that haha. I like the idea though! Or Maybe what i was thinking is just taking off my picture and centering the text and having a super minimalist approach. Thank you very much for your help!

add links so that you don't have to go back to the homepage before you can navigate to a new page. Maybe a better divider thing too. The photo loading stuff was great though!

My computer had some trouble loading the pages though....not sure why. on safari so could be it?

Gotcha, yeah I need to do the links, that seems like a common critique.

I am not sure why your having trouble loading the pages, I have a mac and have tested it on safari, IE, and firefox.

Is it the load time itself or is it just not loading period?
