WE have a post a pic of your rail. Now that the seasons coming to a close lets get a "POST A PIC OF YOUR DROP IN" thread. This will also help with all the repetative threads on drop in plans. I dont have on yet so post away.

i would make your flats a little bit longer, i had to do this with mine because my skis would slide out because the flex was too stiff to make it in the really shourt transition, but other than that it looks amazing,

Plastic lattice for drop in works awesome.  It's really fast.   You just need to make sure it is horizontally level.  If it's tilted to the left or right just a little, it's impossible get get on your rail.  There is almost zero grip so you won't be able to turn to get your line right. 

The ladders worked pretty well although not as perfect as I was hoping.  Still, it's a nice solution if you can't leave your set up out all the time.  This folds up and can be stored in our attic.

sorry the pic sutch a blur but we didnt have any turf and just layed some old rugs down on a hill that looks to be the same size as eveyones drop in but the soapie water didnt work ont the old rug. we found a clear tarp and layed that over the rugs and put some soapie water on that and felt a little faster but its still too slow. how it is now you just have the speed to make it to the end of the rail. im on the hunt for the turff or something.

This thread has motivated me to build a legit drop in. I decided to forget the coat hanger contraption I had started. I'm about half way done, making it all from scrap. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow.

Yea I have made a few sketchy ass drop in's in the past, now I am on to something that will actually be legit haha. This is for winter seeing as I am at school now, so whenever I came home over winter break I just had my dad plow all the snow into a pile and I used that. Now I will be able to use that snow for something useful haha. I'm out to finish it now, I will post some pictures once I finish.

with added hill incline i get great speed, right now is used to ride down the 150 yard hill on the mounatin board, but will soon have, the mini kicker built and 15 foot pvc rail

how or why?

its for skicross, so its a gate.
we used a gate latch attached to a cable, so that when the cable is pulled the gate drops

We arranged some some sticks in order to get a preview of how it should look. It's finished but haven't got any pics! As soon as we get our hands to work and build a rail i'll post pics of everything.
