WE have a post a pic of your rail. Now that the seasons coming to a close lets get a "POST A PIC OF YOUR DROP IN" thread. This will also help with all the repetative threads on drop in plans. I dont have on yet so post away.

what are your thoughts on this one? we'll have more supports for the main platform but how about speed and transition?

k so theres 4 things you need to work on. i even color coded them

blue: your going to need to make supports under the lip
red: the lip is to steep, make it gradual
green: make the transition less sharp, so you dont loose speed
yellow: your going to want to make it a little shorter

shorter lengthwise or shorter as in off the ground? also do u think this setup is worth it or do u think it would be just as good to go straight to the ground instead of a platform?

yea that looks good. thanks for the help man we'll do that.. (me and jennings are building this) but 1 more quick question about the lip.. how can i get the lip on there if i use milk cartons, pallets, etc as the platform? should i just drill the wood into the crates?

just started building ours last night. stands at 8 eight feet tall and 4ft wide. gonna be so dope when its done. anyone have tips on how steep of an angle to make the downslope. we have it at 45 but just wanted to check before we make it final today

make your lip really flat, and then get the realy chaep ply wood, like the ones that are made up of thes big chips glued togethr. lay them down over the spportsand get your buddie to stand on it while you drill it in.  thats what i did for mine and its perfect, like so smooth. some shitty pics are i my profile if u want, its ike the same design too.

my setup. i built it off of the berm in my backyard. i spent a total of about $20 on just the green stuff... and its not turf, but rather its shade cloth, the stuff they put on the fences at tennis courts. it slides reaaalllly well, even dry. it doesn't look long or steep enough, but it works incredibly well.
