WE have a post a pic of your rail.
Now that the seasons coming to a close lets get a "POST A PIC OF YOUR DROP IN" thread. This will also help with all the repetative threads on drop in plans. I dont have on yet so post away.
Does making it steeper change a lot at my speed issues?
And, how big should the angle between the end of the Drop-In ramp and the bottom be?
Cuz if its too small I'll have some problems with my speed and if its to steep I fall forward averytime I ski on it..
yeah we used to use this desk that was smaller than that drop in, and we had plenty of speed so it should work as good (hopefully better) than the desk
im gettin there. all i need to do is cover it in turf and build some support for ma railz. everything was free so far which is pretty sick. its REALLY sturdy even though it looks kinda sketch. and where it gets wider there will be wood there so it doesnt just stick out. im gunna make the rail hit-able as urban or as a flat rail. and its behind my barn so its out of the way which is good.
and yea the tranny is kinda quick but im kinda running out of room especially if i wanna put another rail at the end even if it is shorter and at a left or right kink. i think itll be good though
its extremely sturdy, dont judge a book by its cover meng. once its covered in turf and everything is is all trimmed and pretty looking it will be beautiful, and shits goin down on it.
and im putting down some turf or carpet on ths rocks on the other side, its much more like steps. JUST WAIT
Just finished my drop in, now its time to make some rails. Dimensions: 6.5 feet tall, 3 ft wide drop, 4 ft wide take off lip, and bout 14 ft of tranny.
