WE have a post a pic of your rail.
Now that the seasons coming to a close lets get a "POST A PIC OF YOUR DROP IN" thread. This will also help with all the repetative threads on drop in plans. I dont have on yet so post away.
Just finished my build today. Its nice having natural hills. Going to build a not shit rail at somepoint, so far Ive spent a total of 50 bux. pretty damn good. Learning to grind on a round pipe is soo much harder than flat rails.
Ive updated my summer drop in, Built a new rail based off the design in the Build-a-rail thread, came out great. I needed to increase the angle of my ramp a good bit, and I was pretty worried about the tranny being too steep, but it works just fine as long as you pole push down the run in, otherwise I dont have enough speed.
It only happened once, on my first drop in testing speed when I didnt have the rail there. Clipped the tails, put some scratches in em that Ill probably have to have a shop grind out before the season. Grabbed my poles and problem solved. Also yes I put some wood on top of them so it wouldent happen again if I fucked it up.
the down part is just construction fence. overall it works great. i use biodegradable soap and water which i find works better than dish soap anyways. the ramp is turf and the rail is 12 feet long and a few inches.
you can't see, but what i did was buy a few 10 footers and then bought a connector for pvc. there's a little gap between the two, but it has not affected my performance at all. you can't feel it. if you want i'll post a picture tomorrow to explain it better.
