WE have a post a pic of your rail.
Now that the seasons coming to a close lets get a "POST A PIC OF YOUR DROP IN" thread. This will also help with all the repetative threads on drop in plans. I dont have on yet so post away.
yeah i had the same problem. what you have to do is use slats. way less friction because there is less surface area. look around at some other pics, im talking about the ones that look like a ladder.
i've started to build my ramp. like gettting all the wood and stuff. but what is the best angle for the ramp. i am planning to make it around 45 degrees. will that work well?
Does using a single sheet of plywood slow you down? I'm about to add the structure to lay down the turf, but not sure whether to use slats, or a single sheet of plywood..
Mine is a little to slow at times but my dad wont let me build a big drop in we don't really have a good spot for it without making the yard look stupid. It's currently a box with hinges so the main drop in folds out and then just a hill with pieces of wood with turf on it
actually exactly 6 feet tall. and to be honest, i ditched the ladder set up haha. i just threw some plywood over it and it works the same but is less sketchy. yours is looking sick though, how long is that rail?
40 feet man! I built two rails last summer with my shitty makeshift dropin, and I made them higher than my liking, so i made two more that were lower so I could make the dropin lip lower. Now I have fourty feet of PVC to work with
