Chances of me getting a glass pipe across airport security

so im here with my friend and were leaving from Canada to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in about 5 hours

trying to debate wether or not to bring my pipe

im 15 so is he and my familys coming with me

would i be able to carry it in my pants
like would glass be detected by airport metal thingy

any help

A glass pipe wont set off the detectors, but if oyu get padded down, they will prolly find it. From what ive heard, most of the buds that you will find down there is schwag, which is only too be smokes in joints or blunts. I would just pick up some papers down there.

roll a joint, or bring a pipe that has never been used, if they do happen to find it, its legal as long as it has NO res.
dont risk cleaning it. cuz one TINY spec of res and your FUCKED, either buy a new one and dont use it until your there, and then just ditch it there. or just buy one there..

i went to playa del carmen in Dec. they have tons of shops i didnt rly see any glass pipes though. granted i wasn't looking for one either though.

you should be ok. ik on my way home they didn't check my bags at customs, however doesn't mean you will be as lucky.

Just buy one down there, pipes are cheap in Mexico.  I always just buy a pipe or bubbler down there, the vendors on the beach sell them for mad cheap and they can usually get you some bud roo, just don't expect it to be dank.

buy a pipe from a street vendor... there'll be about five just outside your hotel. they'll also probably have pretty good blow, so be sure to check that shit out, too.

I have bought pipes in both Europe and India and brought them home with me.  One of the times I was searched when returning to America, the guy found it in my bag, and there was not a problem.

i went to cancun for my sr. trip and brought a few pieces, but make sure there clean when you get there the tree is shitty we got all our shit off cab drivers there legit just ask them

dude ive brought bud throuigh the airport before.  Just clean the pipe with rubbing alchohol then pu it in a zipplock get as much air out as you can, then soak the pipe in water and bleach for 10 minutes, clean your hands with soap for a while then take the bag out of the bleach and pu it in another bag and your fine, but it would be alot easier to just get some papers.

I wouldn't be trying to get a pipe through security going to Mexico.  With all the crap going on down there, I'd think that they might not be as understanding.  Like someone else said, you can buy pipes on the streets for cheap.

I wouldn't just because the consequences are so dire, but it's pretty fucking easy not to get caught. Putting it in a discrete place in your suitcase, inside of something or whatever, is pretty foolproof. You can also, ah... tape it to your inner thigh right near your dick, which I did do once because it was my favorite pipe and I didn't want to let it out of my sight. Then, when you're going through security, just be very casual and thorough... make sure you get all of your metal off the first trip through, follow all their instructions to the T, act like you don't have a care in the world - and you'll be fine. I'd still just buy your shit there though, and save yourself the risk.

I don't think you will have any problems bringing CLEAN glass "artwork" thru airport security, but as everyone has said, just buy something down there.  that's what I did in jamaica.  bought a bunch of pieces - used one - threw the dirty one away before I left - brought all of the clean ones home without any problems.

It's always been my experience that getting back in to the country is one of the easiest things imaginable.  I could have came thru with half of the cartel's shit in my bag and they wouldn't have even looked twice.
