Long tables with no kicker....

Anyone else have these at their mountains? At my hill, there are tons of rails but only 2 jumps. One of which is tiny and the other hasnt changed in like 4 yrs. its like 50ft with a small launch where the big booter should be. do other people's resorts do this shit? you would think they would learn. every year people get hurt on it trying tricks, the problem is you have to go so damn fast. fuckers

I have that exact problem. There is really only one jump at my park which is a 35-40 ft table which you have to tuck from the top of the slope to get enough speed for. Not my favorite for learning on. I hear you :)

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE DOESNT COVER THEM FOR TABLE TOPS IN A PUBLIC PARK. THATS WHY WHISTLER HAVE A PRIVATE PARK WITH ALL THE TABLES IN IT. THEY CAN HAVE AS MANY HIPS AS THEY LIKE though.

I feel your pain man, one of the main mountains I ski at has had tables like that for years, a lot of the time you have to book it from way above the park and rip straight through the gate just to clear the damn thing, and when you do you just go flying like 30 feet 4 or 5 feet off the ground, so shitty and like someone said you really eat it if you fuck up!

mountain insurance is millions of dollars a year. that's why mtns play by the game. the insurance is through the roof.
