earlier this season, i overshot a ~35 footer with a landing thats probably as long as the table. i did a lincoln japan, recognized i had been to fast and pussd out. i landed down in the flat pretty much on my side (i guess thats what you were talking about).
i stood up like nothing (CLAIM), shook off the little shock and went on. no really, i was lucky, but if its not a huge kicker, than you should be fine. imo, lincolns are the easiest of all inverts, cuz you can spot the landing at least as good as on a backie and the rotation is easier to set as a front.
just lift your outside leg on the lip and pull your inside arm/shoulder down. stay calm
